PALUMBO BERGSTROM, LLP

DIANE O. PALUMBO - Affiliations and Education

Diane received her J.D. in 1984 from Pepperdine University School of Law and B.A. from Villanova University. She is a member of the California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Oklahoma State Bars. Diane is a member of numerous professional organizations and has held offices with Women Construction Owners & Executives as well as the National Association of Women In Construction. Diane lectures frequently at industry conferences, including insurance, construction, business management and labor/employment seminars.

In addition to involvement in professional organizations, Diane is active in community initiatives, including chairperson of Festival of Knights/capital campaign at St. Anne’s School, Laguna Niguel, and as an active fundraiser for the Guilds of the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

JULIA BERGSTROM - Affiliations and Education

Julia received her J.D. in 1983 from Willamette University School of Law and holds a B.S. from Loma Linda University. She is a State of California Registered Nurse and member of OCBA/OCMA's liaison committee responsible for addressing issues impacting healthcare and the legal community. Julia is a member of the State Bar of California. She is active in the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Orange County Bar Association where she is a member of the Construction Law Section.

ERIK D. BUZZARD - Affiliations and Education

Erik holds a J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and a B.S. from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Erik is a member of the State Bars of California (1992), Nevada (1999) and Texas (2009), the Orange County Bar Association, and the Clark County Bar Association. Erik has served on the boards of charitable organizations.

MARISA C. ALA - Affiliations and Education

Marisa received her B.A. in 1995 from Pepperdine University and her J.D. in 1998 from the Pepperdine School of Law. She is a member of the State Bars of California, Colorado and Nevada and Arapahoe County Bar Association.

KEVIN T. MEADE - Affiliations and Education

Kevin received his J.D. from the University of Utah, College of Law in 1997 and his B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1993. Kevin is a member of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association.

DAVID S. MARTUCCI - Affiliations and Education

David started his work career by serving 6 years in the United States Navy. He then obtained an Associate Degree in Biology from Fullerton College in 1994 followed by a J.D. from Western State University in 1998 where he was on the Dean's Honor List. David is a member of the California State Bar and he is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern Districts of California.

SEAN P. CONNELL - Affiliations and Education

Sean received his B.A. in 1997 from Marquette University and his J.D. in 2000 from the University of Iowa College of Law. He is a member of the Nevada State Bar and the Clark County Bar Association. He is also licensed to practice before The United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

GERALD F. GILLARD - Affiliations and Education

Gerald received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2006. He was a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship and on the Dean's Merit List. Gerald received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2003. He is a member of the State Bar of California, admitted in 2007 and the State Bar of Colorado, admitted in 2008.

MICHAEL J. HOPPE, JR. - Affiliations and Education

Mike is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the American Corporate Counsel Association. Mike lectures at Company seminars as well as corporate management conferences on best business practices and at the University of California at Irvine Graduate School of Business on the strategies of handling business litigation. Mike received his JD (cum laude) in 1968 from the University of La Verne College of Law where he graduated Law Review. He is an active member of the California State Bar as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Central District Court.

DAWN HOVE - Affiliations and Education

Dawn received her J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2005 where she graduated Cum Laude. She also earned certification in Intellectual Property Law from Whittier Law School in 2005. She received her B.A. in History in addition to a minor in Business Marketing from Concordia University, Irvine where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2002.

Dawn is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, and the State Bar of California. She is licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Central District of California, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal, and before all California State Courts. She has tried cases in California and Washington (pro hac vice).

JUSTIN S. KIM - Affiliations and Education

Justin received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2007 and completed his B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. He is a member of the State Bar of California.

MICHAEL MARSHALL - Affiliations and Education

Michael received his J.D. in 2001 from Pepperdine University School of Law, and his B.A. in History from Pepperdine in 1995. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law on California, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California.

Ms. Rhee graduated from the University of California, Irvine in December of 2002, where she received her B.A. in Criminology, Law & Society, B.A. in Psychology & Social Behaviors and a minor in Educational Studies. She received her J.D. in 2006 from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

She is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California and before all California State Courts. She is a CLEO (Counsel of Legal Education Opportunity) Alumni and a member of the Korean American Bar Association.

TONY SCHIAVONE - Affiliations and Education

Tony received his J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2007 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also earned certification in Intellectual Property Law from Whittier Law School in 2007. He received his B.A. in Environmental Analysis & Design from the University of California, Irvine where he graduated in 1997.

ERIC A. SEIKEN - Affiliations and Education

Eric received his B.A. in Psychology in 1991 from Penn State University and his J.D., Cum Laude, in 1994 from California Western School of Law, where he was a member of Dean’s List and the recipient of a tuition scholarship. Eric is licensed to appear in all courts in California (June 1994) and Colorado (January 1995).

Eric is a member of the State Bars of California and Colorado, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and is a voting member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver. Eric is also a frequent lecturer on issues impacting the construction community, as well as a lecturer on evidence through the National Business Institute and the Institute for Paralegal Education.

Ashley received her J.D. in 2010 from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She received her B.S. with honors in Business Administration and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California where she graduated cum laude. WENDY SCHWAB - Affiliations and Education

Wendy received her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2009 and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006. She is a member of both the Colorado Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Wendy is licensed to appear in all state courts in Colorado.
